Northwestern unveils ghostly combination for Halloween showdown vs Iowa
Saturday is Halloween, and Northwestern’s football team is planning to look the part.
Donning all-white uniforms, including helmets, the Wildcats are hoping to keep the offensive momentum that helped them dominate Maryland last weekend, blasting the Terps 43-3.
The Wildcat offense was charged by Indiana transfer Peyton Ramsey, who was sharp, throwing for 212 yards and one touchdown. That performance was accompanied by a running attack that ran for 235 yards and four scores.
Iowa isn’t Maryland, so the Wildcats will need all the help they can get against the Hawkeyes run defense, who put up a solid showing last week against Purdue. On the other side of the ball, Iowa ran for five yards per carry against the Boilermaker defense.
