After winning the Big Ten West for the second time in three years, Northwestern is off to one of the biggest Non-New Year’s Six Bowl games.

The Wildcats are in sunny Florida with a date against Auburn on New Year’s Day. As Northwestern takes the national stage against the Tigers, the Wildcats dropped their uniform combination for Friday’s game.

There’s nothing crazy about this look. It’s straight up, but I really like it. Northwestern always finds a way to make the purple and white look sharp together.

This game marks the final step in a great 2020 season for the Wildcats. Coming off a 2019 where Northwestern struggled and didn’t even make a bowl game, the Wildcats came back with vengeance and picked up some tough wins. That included a road win against Iowa early in 2020.

There is good reason to believe Northwestern can find a way and defeat Auburn. The Tigers really limp into this game after firing head coach Guz Malzahn. However, Auburn is in this spot for a reason and has weapons such as quarterback Bo Nix.
