Northwestern is cutting into Minnesota’s lead!
After falling behind quickly by a score of 21-0, Northwestern is starting to turn things around. Joe Gaziano started the turnaround with a pressure-induced safety by Minnesota QB Tanner Morgan, and the offense put its first touchdown up after.
The score came on an impressive play by WR Jace James. He was being heavily interfered with in the endzone when he went up for the pass. Though the penalty was thrown on the defense, it couldn’t stop James from battling through for the contested catch.
