Northwestern running back Isaiah Bowser knew just who to thank after the Wildcats’ big day on the ground vs. Maryland.

The offensive line, of course.

“We had over 300 rushing yards, you can’t just do that alone,” Bowser said. “We follow those big guys and they got us a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns and we’re gonna lean on them every game going forward. It all starts behind them and they get all the credit.”

Here’s a clip of Bowser’s thoughts on the Wildcat offensive line:

He was right — the Wildcats rushed for 325 yards in their 43-3 victory over Maryland on Saturday. Bowser managed 70 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. Drake Anderson was even more effective, running the ball 10 times for 103 yards and a score.

Bowser and the Wildcats will face a slightly tougher task on Saturday in the form of Iowa. That game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Halloween.
