Chicago’s Big Ten team (that’s allegedly Northwestern, if you weren’t sure) has pulled a three-star defensive back out of Texas to join the ball club up in Evanston next season.

Ore Adeyi, a 5-foot-11 inch, 175 pound corner playing his high-school ball out of Mansfield Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas, announced his commitment over Twitter, adding “100% Committed” next a pair of purple and black circles.

Adeyi, a member of the 2021 recruiting class, is listed as one of the Top 125 cornerbacks in the 2021 class.

Adeyi will be joining the Wildcats the year after one of the best seasons in school history. Northwestern is 4-0, leading the Big Ten West Division, and is the overwhelming favorite to meet the East Division champion in the Big Ten Championship game Dec. 19 in Indianapolis.

Northwestern’s 2021 recruiting class ranks 53rd nationally and 11th in the B1G.

The Wildcats are set to play at Michigan State at 3:30 ET tomorrow afternoon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
