Rashawn Slater, Los Angeles Chargers OT, expected to miss remainder of 2022 season
Rashawn Slater is one of the bright young offensive linemen in the NFL and a key piece for the Los Angeles Chargers’ protection plan for Justin Herbert. Unfortunately, Slater is expected to miss the remainder of the 2022 season.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Slater sustained a ruptured biceps tendon during a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That injury is expected to keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

Slater was a first-round pick during the 2021 NFL Draft out of Northwestern and turned into an instant impact player for the Chargers. He started 16 games as a rookie, went to the Pro Bowl and was a second-team All-Pro selection.
