A pair of Northwestern turnovers allowed Iowa to jump out to a quick, 17-0 lead over the Wildcats.

But as anyone who has watched enough college football knows, that means nothing.

The Wildcats settled down, and found the endzone twice in the second period to head into halftime down 20-14.

After several possessions back-and-forth, with 6:05 left in the 3rd period Northwestern running back Jessie Brown broke through the line from the 2-yard line to knot the game at 20 – the PAT put Northwestern in the lead for the first time on the day.

The two teams entered the final period with Northwestern leading 21-20.
