They wouldn't...would they? Citrus Bowl posts image of hilarious alternate end zone team name for Northwestern
No. 14 Northwestern (6-2) is set to take on Auburn (6-4) in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day (12 p.m. CST/ABC).
Leading up to the contest, Vrbo tweeted a funny and fitting alternate end zone design for Northwestern.

Simply hilarious. It’s not going to happen but it would be amazing if that ended up as the Northwestern end zone.
The back story is that ESPN analyst Joey Galloway insulted the upstart Wildcats as a”bunch of Rece Davises”, in reference to his broadcasting partner, according to Awful Announcing. Northwestern took the slight as motivation, as they knocked off then-No. 10 Wisconsin.
Alas, the Fighting Rece Davises were born and hopefully here to stay.

Northwestern has won the B1G West twice in the last three seasons under coach Pat Fitzgerald and bring a three-game bowl winning streak into Friday’s clash.
