Thomas Gordon decided to show up against Duke. He reeled in an impressive grab on a pass from Ryan Hilinski.

Gordon had 2 receptions for 39 yards receiving against Nebraska, which tops his numbers from 2021. The Wildcats TE had just 3 yards receiving all of last season.

The Northwestern TE slipped past his coverage, and found himself in a good position to make a great catch for 14 yards and a 1st down to put Northwestern inside the Red Zone.

Unfortunately, the Wildcats squandered their great field position after missing a 38-yard field goal.

Evan Hull is struggling so far against the Blue Devils. He is doing well in the receiving game, though. Hull has 42 yards receiving so far, which is currently leading the team.
