Tunnel vision: Pat Fitzgerald shares unique look at transformed Wrigley Field
Saturday is going to present a unique opportunity for both Purdue and Northwestern. The two teams are meeting in the Friendly Confines for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Wrigley Field will be the host site of Saturday’s B1G West Clash between the Boilermakers and Wildcats. It’s a chance for the players, coaching staffs and fans to enjoy one of the most iconic venues in all of sports.
Friday afternoon, Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald provided a different look at the transformed Wrigley Field before the Saturday showdown. As he walks out of the tunnel, you get the awesome view of the playing field and the backdrop:

Based on Fitzgerald’s caption, he’s a pretty big fan of the opportunity.
This will mark the second time Fitzgerald has had the chance to coach at Wrigley Field. In 2010, Northwestern played Illinois at the baseball stadium to close out the season.
Kickoff between Purdue and Northwestern is set for 12 p.m. ET and the game will air on Big Ten Network.
