WATCH: Northwestern continues second-half surge with 82-yard scoop-and-score

The Wildcats are storming back in the Holiday Bowl!

After entering halftime down 20-3, Northwestern came out of the break on a mission. The Wildcats forced a quick turnover and wasted no time turning that possession into a touchdown.

From there, it appeared Utah was destined to retake momentum. The Utes drove all the way to Northwestern’s six-yard line and looked bound to score.

However, the Wildcat defense had something else in mind. Following a strip-sack, Jared McGee scooped up the fumble and out-ran everybody 82 yeards for a touchdown:
