Every program needs a hype man like Alex Spanos.
The assistant director of football performance, Spanos has become well known across B1G country as Northwestern’s “hype man.” Every week, he gets the Wildcats fired up before each and every game. And he did it one final time before the Cats took the field against Illinois in the season finale.
Quite honesty, it might’ve been his best weekend yet.
As players entered the locker room, Spanos was able to do a few pull-ups while shouting “let’s go!” Oh, and he did it all in that cut-off shirt of his.
Here’s Spanos getting Northwestern fired up for the final game of the regular season.
Team bus pulled up to the stadium.
