Want to get amped up for something?

There are a few ways to do it. Drinking something does it for some people, while other may need help from another person.

Some handshakes get people’s moods up, and that is sort of what Northwestern’s strength coach was doing prior to the Wildcats’ game against Akron Saturday night. Well, handshakes and roughhousing.

A lot of roughhousing.

If you don’t get ready to play a game as a football player by this, you may not have a pulse:

The strength coach is shaking hands, slapping guys, jumping up and down and doing everything possible to get his guys ready to play some football.

We’ll find out if it worked soon enough.

Northwestern-Akron is set for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff at Ryan Field. The game will be televised on BTN.
