What Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald had to say at his regular Monday press conference
Week 1 was a historic one for Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald as he eclipsed the 100-win mark.
This past Saturday, Fitzgerald picked up win No. 101 as the Wildcats went into Iowa City and won.
Northwestern now sits at 2-0 and in the midst of a wide open Big Ten West race. In Week 3, the Wildcats host a Nebraska team coming off a bye week. While nothing is certain, Saturday’s tilt should surely be in favor of Northwestern.
Fitzgerald certainly won’t take the Huskers for granted and is in the midst of preparing his team for that contest. Here is what he had to say at his regularly scheduled Monday press conference.
Fitz expects another close game with Nebraska, unsurprisingly, and finishes by once again wishing the Jarvis family his best thoughts.
