Northwestern is heading to Indianapolis with a bit of momentum, a 28-10 win over Illinois capping a tremendous regular season for the program and head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

The win means that Northwestern finishes 6-1 on the season. The victory came in impressive fashion, as Northwestern had 493 yards of total offense, 411 yards of which came on the ground. Not a bad day for the Cats.
