Wrigley field transformation almost complete for Purdue-Northwestern game
There are plenty of neutral site games during the course of a college football season; many take place in NFL stadiums.
Northwestern will be playing in one of the most famous stadiums in the world, but instead of an NFL stadium, it is an MLB stadium.
Northwestern is playing at Wrigley Field in a week on Nov. 20 against Purdue. The transformation from a baseball field to a college football field is almost complete.
The field is picturesque with the backdrop of the Chicago skyline.

Northwestern has not had the season they have wanted as it is 3-6 and 1-5 in the B1G this season.
Purdue has had a fun season so far in the “Spoilermaker” role, already spoiling Iowa and Michigan State’s undefeated season and potentially a chance at the College Football Playoff.
Purdue is right in the thick of the B1G West race, albeit they need some help from other teams to get Indy. They only have one more game against a B1G West opponent which happens to be the game at Wrigley Field on Nov. 20 vs. Northwestern.
