A total of 16 Buckeyes will not be available for Ohio State’s spring game on Saturday.

Ohio State will take the field at 12 p.m. ET in Columbus for its annual spring game, which will feature an offense vs. defense format. More than a dozen players will miss the scrimmage because of injuries or out of caution.

Because of the number of injuries and players out, Ryan Day decided to scrap a traditional scrimmage and run an offense vs. defense format. It should still give us some idea of what defensive changes were made under new defensive coordinator Jim Knowles.
