Ohio State has made the final three for 4-star offensive lineman Addison Nichols.
Tennessee and North Carolina also made the final three for Nichols, who hails from Norcross, Georgia.
According to recruiting insider Chad Simmons, Nichols’ commitment could be coming sooner rather than later. Here’s the announcement:
Breaking: All-American OL Addison Nichols has eliminated a handful of schools, including #UGA, #Florida and #USC to get down to his final three.
He’s down to #OhioState, #UNC and the #Vols with a decision likely coming in the near future. @On3sports @On3Recruits pic.twitter.com/cQ32gGu6BG

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Nichols is the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2022. He’s also rated as the No. 103 overall player in the country for this class.
Nichols visited Columbus back in June. He’s also made visits to Chapel Hill and Knoxville since the recruiting dead period was lifted back on June 1.
Nichols attends Greater Atlanta Christian School and is listed at 6-foot-5, 318 pounds.
He would be a monster addition to Ohio State’s recruiting class. The Buckeyes already have the No. 1 class in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
However, that group includes just two offensive linemen so far and neither are as highly-rated as Nichols. Both players are also listed as tackles, whereas Nichols would provide stability for Ohio State’s interior.
Prospects in the class of 2022 are eligible to officially sign with their programs during the Early Signing Period in December.
