Cavazos is committed to Ohio State. He gave his verbal commitment to the Buckeyes on April 12, 2019. However, things can change.

Recruits can switch schools whenever they so choose up until they sign their name on the dotted line. And, once that happens, they can still switch of course, but it gets more complicated once the NCAA transfer portal is involved.

On Tuesday afternoon, Cavazos announced that he is still committed to Ohio State, ridding any rumors that have surfaced insisting otherwise:

Currently, Cavazos holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Penn State, Oklahoma and others.
