One B1G team is still in the running for one of the 10 best tight ends in the 2021 recruiting class.

Saturday, four-star tight end Hudson Wolfe narrowed his list of options down to five schools, leaving one B1G squad in the mix. That one team was Ohio State, which already boasts the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class.

The other four schools were all from the SEC: Alabama, Ole Miss, Georgia and Tennessee.

Wolfe, a native of Savannah, Tennessee, is listed as a 6-foot-6, 245-pound tight end. According to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, he’s listed as the No. 9 tight end in the recruiting class and ranks No. 214 nationally. He’s also the fifth-best player out of Tennessee.

Ohio State has already done an excellent job separating itself from the rest of the pack early in the 2021 recruiting cycle. The Buckeyes own the nation’s top-ranked class and already have received commitments from three five-star prospects and several top 100 players.

We’ll see if Wolfe becomes the latest to join Ohio State’s unbelievable class, or if he chooses to go to the SEC.
