5-star DL, Ohio State target, announces plans to reclassify from 2023 to 2022
This year’s National Signing Day is in the books, but an elite prospect has announced he is joining the 2022 recruiting class.
Lebbeus Overton was a 5-star defensive lineman in the class of 2023. On Thursday, however, he shared that he is reclassifying to the class of 2022. The Alpharetta, Georgia native and Milton product picked up 27 scholarship offers at this stage. Overton is down to Ohio State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas A&M.

Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports asked Overton about each of his 5 finalists.
“The relationship I built with Coach (Larry) Johnson and talking to Coach (Ryan) Day you can tell they know what they’re doing,” Overton said of Ohio State.
