Ohio State is making a big impression on one of the nation’s highest-ranked recruits of the 2022 class.
This weekend, 5-star offensive tackle Zach Rice made a trip to Columbus to visit Ohio State. In a brief video posted on social media, Rice says, “Man it’s crazy out here, come on. 10 out of 10.”
Rice is not committed to any programs at this time but has received 35 offers. Schools in the mix for the nation’s top-ranked offensive tackle include Alabama, Notre Dame, Virginia and North Carolina. He has received B1G offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State and Rutgers.

Per 247Sports, Rice ranks as the No. 5 overall player in the 2022 class. The Lynchburg, Virginia native is also considered the top player from his home state.
Ohio State’s 2022 class already ranks No. 2 nationally and sits atop the B1G. Adding a player like Rice to the class would be another big addition for what’s already an impressive group.
