87-year-old Titans, Ohio State fan thrilled to receive phone call from Mike Vrabel
One Tennessee Titans and Ohio State Buckeyes fan had his day made recently, after Titans head coach Mike Vrabel took five minutes of his time to pick up the phone and chat.
In a video that was posted on Twitter earlier this week, Vrabel called 87-year-old Ron Kegarise to speak with him. Kegarise has been a longtime fan of both the Titans and the Buckeyes, both teams that Vrabel has spent time with during his coaching career.

Kegarise is quarantined inside his home as the public health concerns with coronavirus continue to increase. He also lost his wife last fall.
The conversation was posted to Twitter, and you can tell how excited Kegarise was to receive the phone call from Vrabel. Kegarise also congratulated Vrabel on having a successful run with the Titans last season.
Below is the conversation:
Coach Vrabel took time this morning to check in on Ron Kegarise, an 87-year old @OhioStateFB alum and #Titans fan, who is stuck inside during quarantine. Ron's wife passed away last fall.
