Fields has not prepared this much the entire season, according to Eleven Warriors on Twitter:

This will be the Buckeyes biggest challenge yet this season as Clemson has one of the best defenses in the country. The Tigers do have one loss but it came against Notre Dame when they did not have Trevor Lawrence starting. In the rematch in the ACC Championship Game, Clemson got its revenge with Lawarence starting, 34-10.

Fields has enjoyed a good season with the Buckeyes as he has over 1,500 yards passing with 15 touchdowns to five interceptions. However, he was only 12-for-27 against Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game with no touchdown passes and two interceptions.

He needs to have what he said above translate to the field big-time if the Buckeyes are to go on to the National Championship Game. Kickoff between Clemson and Ohio State is at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 1.
