After cruising past Rutgers, Ryan Day shifts focus immediately to two big games ahead
Ohio State beat Rutgers. Shocker, I know.
Everybody expected it. Maybe people didn’t expect Rutgers to score 21 points on the Buckeyes, but, a win’s a win. Especially when backups were in for Ohio State and it still won by 35 points.

After the game, Buckeye coach Ryan Day met with the media. He talked about the Rutgers game that just occurred. But, only for a bit:
Ryan Day says first team played well for most part, backups got sloppy in 2nd half, but "Overall we took care of business … but now here comes the two big games in a row." Referencing home game vs. Penn State and trip to Michigan.

Ryan Day says they didn’t talk about Rutgers after the game. Focus immediately shifted to Penn State.

Can you blame Day? The win was what it was. Ohio State was favored to win by over 50 points for crying out loud. Go over what you want to during the week ahead if you must look back on the win, but, the focus now shifts to two massive Big Ten games.
Ohio State hosts one-loss Penn State next week and then travels to take on Michigan to close the regular season. Can you blame the Buckeyes for moving on immediately after beating Rutgers?
