Air Noland is a 5-star quarterback out of Georgia who committed to Ohio State this spring. He hit the field for high school football action Friday night and wound up delivering some thrilling moments in a late-game drive.

Playing for Langston Hughes, Noland had the ball late in the game and with his team trailing Carrolton, 34-33. Noland proceeded to dial up a go-ahead touchdown drive with the clock winding down, including a pair of highlight-reel plays.

On the first one, Noland was forced to scramble behind the line of scrimmage. He nearly went down to one would-be tackler but evaded the defender before finding his man down the field for a first down.

Later in the drive, Noland’s offense was facing a 1st-and-goal from the 25-yard line. He was once again flushed from the pocket, but that didn’t change the outcome.

Noland delivered a strike in the back of the end zone, hitting his receiver with a go-ahead touchdown with 1:11 left in the game. Langston Hughes would hold on for the 39-34 victory.

Noland is a 5-star prospect and the No. 3 QB in the country per the 247 Sports Composite. The system also rates Nolan as the No. 22 player nationally for the 2024 recruiting class.
