Alabama QB, Ohio State target via class of 2023 sets commitment date

One of Ohio State’s targets for the 2023 recruiting class is winding down his recruitment.
On Sunday, QB Christopher Vizzina set his commitment for Tuesday afternoon. The Buckeyes originally offered Vizzina in March.
Along with Ohio State, Vizzina is considering Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Auburn, Clemson and Georgia:

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Vizzina is a 4-star prospect and the No. 7 QB nationally for the class of 2023. He is also the No. 52 player nationally regardless of position for the cycle.
Listed at 6-foot-4 and 207 lbs., Vizzina has been playing for Briarwood Christian School in Birmingham, Alabama. His 247 Sports Crystal Ball is currently trending toward Clemson. As things currently stand, Ohio State does not have a QB commitment for the cycle.
