Andy Katzenmoyer was dominant on the field for the Ohio State Buckeyes in the late 1990s. The linebacker was a Consensus All-American in 1997 and earned First-team All-Big Ten honors 3 times.

Now, Katzenmoyer has returned to lend his voice to the Buckeyes for the Cotton Bowl trailer ahead of a matchup with the No.9 Missouri Tigers.

“We all heard ‘Ohio Against The World.’ But why do they say that? It’s about pride. It’s about fight. It’s about beating the odds,” Katzenmoyer said in the trailer. “There’s a pride in wearing the scarlet and gray. In this state, we fight for what we have.”

The trailer showcases clips of Katzenmoyer making vicious hits back in the day, as well as current highlights from this 2023 team. New starting quarterback Devin Brown, defensive end JT Tuimoloau, graduate assistant James Laurinaitis, defensive tackle Ty Hamilton, strength and conditioning coach Mickey Marotti, running back TreVeyon Henderson and head coach Ryan Day are also heard in the video.

The Buckeyes and Tigers will face off for the first time since 1998. Overall, the Buckeyes have won 10 of 12 all time meetings. The teams will kick off from Dallas on Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
