Arvell Reese, 4-star linebacker, announces B1G commitment
Arvell Reese is staying home. The blue-chip Ohio linebacker has committed to play for Ryan Day’s Ohio State program.
Reese made the announcement Saturday on his Twitter account.

Reese, listed at over 6-3, 212 pounds, is out of Glenville High School in Cleveland. He played at Euclid prior to his senior season. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Reese is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 recruit in Ohio, No. 20 linebacker and No. 277 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.
During his recruitment, Reese has picked up scholarship offers from 25 schools, including Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Purdue and Rutgers. Reese is commitment No. 19 in Ohio State’s 2023 recruiting class, ranked No. 3 nationally. His highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
