Big Ten Network analyst is winding down his ranking of the top 30 players in the Big Ten, and Buckeyes receiver Garrett Wilson comes in at No. 3.

Last season, Wilson proved himself as one of the best receivers in the country. Alongside Chris Olave, Wilson caught 43 passes for 723 yards and 6 touchdowns in just 8 games.

“He’s one of the most electrifying players in the Big Ten conference and across all of America to be completely honest,” Perry said in his analysis. “He gets up and down the field if you need a big play from him, but he’s also really good in that short and intermediate range. He’s has a catch radius that’s pretty ridiculous. I mean, anywhere you throw the ball to him, that’s within reach. He’s going to go get it.

“His State line should push him over the top among the best players in America this year. I’m excited about what this guy is going to do.”

Entering his junior year, Wilson will be looking to make another big jump in production as he prepares to impress NFL scouts. Wilson and Olave — who is presumably ranked in the top two of this list — should help ease the transition for new Ohio State QB CJ Stroud.

Ohio State opens its 2021 season on Sept. 2 against Minnesota.
