The 11th-ranked Buckeyes are putting on a clinic at Rutgers right now, leading the Scarlet Knights 45-6 at halftime. They have 406 yards of total offense, including 273 yards from quarterback CJ Stroud in his first game back after nursing a shoulder injury last week. Stroud also has 4 touchdowns already.
Rutgers entered the game with a solid run defense, holding teams to 113.5 rush yards per game coming into the matchup with Ohio State. The Scarlet Knights gave up 133 in the first half alone, including 71 from TreVeyon Henderson.
So, yes, it looks like Ohio State is still Ohio State. There’s still a whole half of football left at SHI Stadium, too, so we’ll see how this one shakes out.
