Ohio State is looking to reclaim the national championship for the first time since 2014. Despite just one national championship over the past decade, the Buckeyes continue to be one of the best programs in the country.

On Monday, 247 Sports analyst Brad Crawford dropped his list of the top-10 programs of the decade. Unsurprisingly, Nick Saban’s Alabama program topped the list.

Behind the Crimson Tide, it was Ohio State at No. 2 on Crawford’s list. Clemson and Georgia rounded out the top 4 with no other B1G team cracking the top 10.

Here is Crawford’s analysis of the decade for the Buckeyes:

The Buckeyes’ lone national title this decade came under former coach Urban Meyer, but Ohio State is destined to get back to the final game with Ryan Day in charge after falling short against Alabama two seasons ago with a championship on the line. No Big Ten program has produced more total NFL Draft selections or first-rounders than the Buckeyes, who have potentially two more coming off the board in C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba for 2023. Ohio State holds the nation’s second-best winning percentage since the start of the 2012 season at .899 coming off a Rose Bowl victory vs. Utah.

Now, it’s up to Day to get Ohio State back to the College Football Playoff and national championship game.
