Another black stripe alert was announced for Ohio State this week. This one is in honor of freshman linebacker Arvell Reese, just a day after wide receiver Brandon Inniss received the honor.

“Shoutout to everybody showing love, shoutout to the Rushmen,” said Reese. “Shoutout the regs, shoutout BIA, shoutout the offense. Go Bucks!”
Reese was a 4-star recruit out of Glenville High School in Cleveland, OH. The linebacker was rated as the No. 22 LB in the 2023 class and the No. 5 player out of Ohio per the 247 Sports Composite.
Reese is now part of a Buckeye defense with sky-high expectations in 2023. The team is hoping to avenge a defeat in the Peach Bowl against Georgia that ended the 2022 season.
