Ezekiel Elliott and Joey Bosa might not have kicked off their NFL careers in ideal fashion, but on the field, the top selections have done everything and more.

The former Ohio State teammates were both named the NFL Rookies of the Month for their October dominance.

Bosa didn’t even start his NFL career until his rookie contract stalemate with the Chargers ended weeks into the regular season. But in four games, Bosa racked up four sacks and is already among the most efficient pass-rushers in the NFL.

Elliott has been dominant on the other side of the ball. At the unofficial midway point of the NFL season, the former No. 4 overall pick is leading the NFL in rushing.

In October alone, Elliott racked up 525 yards on 88 carries. That put him on pace for 1,826 yards, which would break Eric Dickerson’s rookie rushing record by 18 yards.

At this point, Elliott is the clear-cut favorite for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

If he keeps on this pace, he might have an even more impressive honor coming his way.
