Brady Quinn makes good on bet with AJ Hawk during Week 6 broadcast

Brady Quinn made a bet that involved Notre Dame — his alma mater — and Ohio State. That bet included former Buckeye star AJ Hawk and was made good during Saturday’s broadcast of Big Noon Kickoff.
That bet, of course, centered around the dramatic Week 4 contest in South Bend between Notre Dame and Ohio State. Ryan Day and the Buckeyes prevailed, so Quinn had to wear Hawk’s old No. 47 jersey for a segment on Saturday’s Week 6 show.
“See what had happened was, a couple of weeks ago, the Buckeyes in South Bend took down my Fighting Irish,” said Quinn.
“What happened,” questioned one of Quinn’s counterparts.
“Ohio State, this Ohio State right here, took down my Fighting Irish,” Quinn reiterated. “A bet was made with my brother-in-law AJ Hawk, and I am now paying that bet right now.”
“That’s your childhood team, you look good,” said Matt Leinart.
It’s unlikely Quinn will don an OSU jersey again anytime soon, but it’s good to see him make good on the bet after the Buckeyes came out victorious in the top-10 duel.
