Deputies were dispatched to the scene of the accident at 1:22 a.m. in response to a 911 call placed by his sister, Jaimie.
Hartline and another man, Joshua Gaylor, who was riding with him in the vehicle, were taken to Riverside Hospital. An Ohio State spokesperson on Monday afternoon said Hartline had been released and since returned home. Hartline’s injuries were not life threatening, Ohio State said in a statement. A field sobriety test was not conducted at the scene, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
Several people, including Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye, were identified in the report as witnesses, though only Hartline and Gaylor were riding in the ATV.
