Chris Olave set the program record for touchdowns with 35 career touchdowns after he was tied with David Boston at 34. He finished the season with 936 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns on 65 receptions.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba stole the show though in the Rose Bowl after his record-setting performance. He finished with 346 yards on 15 receptions, which is both a Rose Bowl record and the most yards any receiver has had in any bowl game.

Of course, Garrett Wilson was also sensational this season and looks primed to be a 1st-round pick in this year’s draft, along with Olave. Wilson finished with 1,058 yards and 12 touchdowns on 70 receptions.

The Buckeyes still have Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka coming back next year who look to be studs. Harrison Jr. caught six passes for 71 yards and had 3 touchdowns in the Rose Bowl while Egbuka had 46 yards on 3 receptions.

It might be time to start calling Ohio State “Wide Receiver U” with how many great receivers the program has.
