Ohio State’s ridiculous 2021 recruiting class just got even better. The Buckeyes have added another top 50 talent to the group.

Wednesday, Ohio State received a verbal pledge from four-star strong-side defensive end Tunmise Adeleye, an IMG Academy product. He’s one of the top 50 players in the 2021 recruiting cycle and becomes the 16th player of the cycle to commit to Ryan Day and his staff.

Adeleye made his announcement via Twitter.

“I would like to also send a special thank you shoutout to coach Donnie Smith, my Mother, and my Father for pushing me and guiding me at every stage of my career. I am eternally grateful,” Adeleye wrote. “With that being said and after careful deliberation I would like to announce that I am 100% committed to The Ohio State University.”

Adeleye, a 6-foot-3, 240-pound end is listed as the No. 4 player at his position in the 2021 class and ranks as the No. 41 overall talent in this cycle. He also ranks No. 8 among Florida prospects.

With Adeleye’s commitment, Ohio State now has five players ranked inside the top 50 in the 2021 class, and he’s the 11th player inside the top 100 to give his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes. It’s easy to see why OSU owns the top recruiting class in the nation.

Adeleye picked Ohio State over offers from 31 other schools.
