Henderson became the third five-star player to give his verbal commitment to the Buckeyes during this cycle, and is the 10th player ranked inside the top 100 to join the class. Ryan Day and his staff have assembled the highest-ranked recruiting class in the country so far, and it could be one of the best of all-time.

Per 247Sports, Henderson ranks as the No. 2 running back in this class and is listed as the No. 17 player overall. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound back out of Hopewell, Virginia is also ranked as the No. 3 player from his home state.

Henderson had narrowed his list of schools down to nine, leaving Ohio State in the mix along with Penn State and Michigan out of the B1G. He was also considering Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Texas, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
