VINE: Did Apple hold on final play?
Ohio State’s Eli Apple will get credit for a pass breakup on the final play of regulation to fend off Indiana.
Ricky Jones Jr. nearly hauled in a pass that would’ve given IU a chance to tie or take the lead in the final seconds. No penalty was called, but should there have been a flag on Apple for holding Jones down before he went up?
You be the judge:
Final play. Apple held. Ball hit Jones Jr in both hands before Apple tried to break it up. #damn #iufb pic.twitter.com/9sBeTxkbIC
