Ohio State lands four-star Georgia quarterback Emory Jones for 2018 class
The rich got richer.
The pipeline talented quarterbacks that Urban Meyer gets to Columbus appears to have no end in sight. That theme was evident once again on Friday afternoon when the Buckeyes landed a commitment from four-star 2018 quarterback Emory Jones.
Jones is a Georgia native who is rated as the No. 3 dual-threat quarterback and No. 34 player overall in the 2018 class. He turned down the likes of Florida, in-state Georgia, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others to come to Ohio State. Ultimately, he decided between the Buckeyes and Volunteers.

After a trip to Columbus for Friday Night Lights last weekend, Meyer was able to land himself another top-flight quarterback of the future. The Buckeyes already have a commitment from second highest-rated dual-threat quarterback in the 2017 class in Tate Martell.
Jones is expected to be an ideal fit in Meyer’s scheme:

Jones’ commitment marked Ohio State’s second 2018 commitment after four-star tailback Brian Snead committed to the Buckeyes last weekend.
Ohio State already has the No. 1 2017 class. It appears Meyer already has a solid start on getting there in 2018:
