It’s hard to say the Buckeyes were lacking in their 2016 recruiting class.

With 13 four- or five-star recruits already, Ohio State already had the third-ranked 2016 class in the 247sports rankings. But they were still looking to add a jump-ball receiver, specifically 6-4 prospect Binjimen Victor.

Well, the Buckeyes crossed another thing off their wish list.

Victor announced his commitment to Ohio State on Monday, turning down the likes of Tennessee and West Virginia.

The four-star wideout was the Buckeyes’ top remaining wide receiver target. A U.S. Army All-American, Victor is the 12th-rated receiver in the 2016 class, and is the 85th-rated player overall in the 247sports composite rankings.

The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native’s commitment gave the Buckeyes their second 2016 wideout, joining early enrollee and fellow U.S. Army All-American Austin Mack.

Victor’s commitment moved Ohio State past Michigan for the No. 2 spot in the 247sports class rankings.

It was the beginning of what could be a big week in recruiting for Urban Meyer. The Buckeyes reportedly landed a commitment on Sunday night from four-star linebacker Keandre Jones, who was previously committed to Maryland. Another Maryland commit, four-star quarterback Dwayne Haskins, is also considering a flip to Ohio State.

The Buckeyes will look to make a final push to earn the top 2016 class before National Signing Day on February 3.
