Ryan Day hasn’t missed out on any prospects during his first full recruiting cycle, but he came up just short of landing another five-star player on Monday night.

Five-star running back Kendall Milton committed to Georgia, picking the Bulldogs over LSU, Alabama and Ohio State. All four were finalists to land the talented ball carrier.

Milton is ranked as the No. 22 player in the 2020 class and is the fourth-best running back, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The Clovis, California native is the third-best prospect from his home state.

Several programs were interested in the elite, five-star product, as Milton received nearly 40 offers. In the end, though, Georgia was able to land the commitment.

Georgia now has three five-star players committed in the 2020 class. The Bulldogs have the No. 3 class in the SEC and the fifth-best class nationally.

Ohio State is still in excellent shape on the recruiting front. The Buckeyes own the B1G’s top class and sit No. 4 nationally. Day and company have received commitments from two five-star players.
