C.J. Stroud was asked many questions at B1G Media Days. He brought up a story about H-O-R-S-E when asked about how competitive some of his teammates are.
Stroud has played horse with teammates Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Dawand Jones. Stroud stated that he beat Smith-Njigba 9 times in a row, but that he always tell him to not let anyone know when he wins. Stroud also said that he is the best shooter on the team, but Jones is the most complete player of the group.
He even went as far to say that some of the football players would make it close against the Ohio State men’s basketball team. Here’s the full video per Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
“He’s irritating sometimes,” Stroud said jokingly. “If I beat Jaxon, he’ll tell me to keep it a secret. The other day we played horse, and I beat him 9 times in a row. I’m the best shooter. Dawand is probably the most polished basketball player. I honestly think if we played against the basketball team with some of our football guys, it would be close.”
C.J. Stroud says he recently beat Jaxon Smith-Njigba in H-O-R-S-E nine straight times. He says he’s the best shooter on the team, though Dawand Jones is the most complete basketball player … and he thinks a group of football players could beat the Ohio State basketball team. pic.twitter.com/v0kc4a8f93

That would definitely be an interesting matchup to see.
