C.J. Stroud says 'I'd probably be near the top' when asked about NCAA Football rating
While there were many serious questions asked at B1G Media Days, C.J. Stroud still managed to have some with reporters. He was even asked about what he thought his rating should in the NCAA Football video game reportedly coming out in July of 2023 according to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
Stroud 1st let the reporter who asked him the question give their guess as to what his rating should be. The reporter started off saying high, which prompted Stroud to keep poking fun and ask how high. Someone in the crowd said 91 or higher, which made Stroud laugh.
“I’d probably say up near the top,” said Stroud. “Somewhere around 97 or 98, hopefully. But that’s NCAA though.”
After that, Stroud continued to joke around with reporters. Next, he was curious about what people though is throwing ratings should be, almost directing the interview at times.
Towards the end of the interview, someone gave an answer that he didn’t agree with which made him jokingly say, “He didn’t even watch me play.”
There’s no doubt that Stroud should be 1 of the best players in the game when it comes out. You can watch the full interview here:
