Cade Stover has been ruled out for the rest of Ohio State’s Peach Bowl appearance and has reportedly been taken to a local hospital in Atlanta. Stover suffered the injury after hurdling a defender in the 1st quarter against Georgia.

Stover is reportedly dealing with an issue that had trainers tending to his lower back and left hip area on the sidelines, but the exact details of the injury are unknown at this point. ESPN’s Holly Rowe provided the update about Stover.

Stover had 1 catch for 7 yards before being knocked out of the game.

Stover is a crucial part of the Buckeye offense, finishing 3rd on the team in receptions during the regular season. Stover had 35 catches for 399 yards and 5 TDs in 2022.
