Cardale Jones hasn’t lost a game as a starting quarterback since graduating high school. the former Ohio State star was 11-0 as a starter with the Buckeyes and is now 2-0 as a starting quarterback with the XFL’s DC Defenders.
Saturday, Jones completed 23-of-37 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Defenders to a 27-0 victory over the New York Guardians. He also had one rush for 14 yards in the win.

In the first game of his XFL career, Jones completed 16-of-26 attempts for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the Defenders’ 31-19 win over the Seattle Dragons. He also had eight rushes for 28 yards.
Jones is now 13-0 in his career as a starting quarterback since high school. He helped guide Ohio State to a B1G title in 2014 and a national championship a month later in the first College Football Playoff.
