Carnell Tate, an Ohio State commit and IMG Academy wide receiver, continues with his fantastic playmaking abilities. On the first play of the first game for IMG Academy, Tate returned the opening kickoff a 93-yard return for a touchdown.

It took all of 11 seconds for Tate to register his first touchdown of the 2022 season:

Tate is a 4-star wide receiver and the 11th-rated receiver in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports Composite. Tate currently has 37 offers to play college football and he committed to Ohio State on June 20.

The touchdown by Tate received immediate recognition from fellow Ohio State commit and potential future teammate in wide receiver Brandon Inniss from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Like Tate, Inniss also has 37 offers to play college football and committed to Ohio State on June 22, two days after Tate committed.

Tate’s touchdown would create a huge spark for IMG Academy as the team defeated the Venice Indians with a 41-3 score.
