McLaurin adjusted to the throw, and while the pass initially looked to be intercepted, he managed to reel it in and get one side down before going out of bounds. The 37-yard completion ended up on the Chargers 11-yard line, with Heinicke tossing for the touchdown on the next play.

The former Ohio State standout was catchless during the first half, but on the scoring drive McLaurin pulled in three receptions for 48 yards, including the highlight reel play.

Entering the NFL in 2019 out of Ohio State, McLaurin posted 2,037 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on 145 receptions through his first two seasons in the league.
