The Washington Football Team and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are engaged in a key battle in the NFC Playoff race. Both teams will need big differences on both sides of the ball in this game.

Washington may have lost the best and most talented player on their team in the middle of the second quarter. On a first and goal play for Tampa Bay, former Ohio State defensive end and Washington’s star defender Chase Young was in the middle of a pass rush when he went down with an apparent leg injury.

The injury may have been caused by a slight hyperextension in his pass rush. Young needed to be carted off the field as he couldn’t get up on his own.

Before the game against Tampa Bay, Young accounted for 25 total tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles this season. Chase is his second season in the league after becoming the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by Washington.
